Our Funders:

The Youth Radio Network is Funded by O2 Think Big; read our story here:

Think Big has been developed in partnership with one of the UK’s leading youth charities, National Youth Agency, as well as support from Young Rewired State, Funded by the Telefonica Foundation. Tracey Herald, Head of Community at O2, said: “Over the last 5 years, O2’s Think Big program has given young people the chance to build their skills and confidence, and show them that with some drive and determination, and the right opportunity, they can unlock their talent and potential. To find out more about Think Big, or to apply for funding to run a project, log onto www.o2thinkbig.co.uk. In May 2016 O2 Think Big awarded The Youth Radio Network £2500 to help us set up the station and get it off the ground. The Funding covered us for 2 years and allowed us to get to where we are today!

This ‘supported employment service’ targets people who have learning disabilities that live in the Lothians/Borders and helps them to find employment locally or to commute into and work in the city of Edinburgh. The project will also expand the use of the 'ENABLE ME' mobile phone app. It will have a stronger focus on working with growth sector employers, to support access to employment for those with Learning Difficulties.
